PADI Professional Diving Courses

PADI
=
The Professional Association of
Diving Instructors
Do you want to be a professional?
Expand your skills, assist other divers, introduce them to the
underwater world you fell in love with and pass on the knowledge and
skill you have accumulated; PADI professional ratings allow you to
do all this and more, either as a part time occupation or as a new
way of life. Career opportunities are wide ranging and varied and
your non-diving skills and interests are invaluable. Go on - take
the plunge - make your hobby your life!
As well as a full time Course Director,
Vikki Batten, we have 5 IDC Staff Instructors. This means that you are being
taught by instructors with a wealth of knowledge and experience who
are able to take you from your first professional level right up to
the highest levels including specialties,
technical and trimix instructor. All our instructors are active and teach
courses at all levels so are able to pass on real life, current experience.
What do I need to
become a PADI professional?
You should be a qualified diver with
PADI or another recognised training agency and have Advanced Open
Water , Rescue Diver & EFR qualifications (or equivalents). We
strongly recommend that you are a Master Scuba Diver as experience
of different skills is ideal. You will also need to have done at
least 60 dives to qualify as a Divemaster or 100 for Instructor
although you can start with less. You will need to have your own
equipment so that you are familiar and comfortable with it - don't
worry if you haven't got it yet, come and have a chat about what you
need.
